Architect of Record | New York, 2016 - 2018

The Orchard is a ten-story luxury rental development prominently situated at the intersection of Orchard and Delancey Streets in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by Alexander Gorlin Architects, the project features two floors of vibrant street-level retail with nine stories of one- and two-bedroom rental residences above. As Architect of Record, SWA Architecture worked closely with the design team to realize a building that brings refined urban living to a dynamic and historic neighborhood.

Each apartment benefits from both northern and southern exposures, private balconies, and sweeping views. Residents also enjoy access to thoughtfully integrated amenities including a rooftop recreational terrace and a fully equipped gym.
